Heritage Park Museum
Located in Heritage Park, Cartwright is proud to be home to a collection of museums. Badger Creek Museum contains local area artifacts as well as agricultural, rural and family life historical pieces. The School Museum displays various items that would be found in an early pioneer school. Manitoba Telephone System Museum recalls the earliest days of the telephone service with artifacts and displays and the Post Office has recently been relocated from Mather to the Heritage Park. A new project is the renovation of an historic home and the placing of items in authentic settings.

MATHER
Memorial "Brick Wall"
Created for Mather's centennial in 1997. Over 550 family names of past and present area residents are displayed on the wall.
The Rock
Moved by road on a metal skid to the center of Mather as a commemorative marker. It was balanced on the skid with railway ties and due to the friction between the road and skid, enough heat was created to start the railway ties on fire.
Rock Lake Beach
Located a few kms north, just off Hwy #5, Rock Lake is home to camping, boating, fishing and swimming in summer and ice fishing in winter. The Rock Lake Beach Store / coffee shop offers fishing licences, seasonal lot rentals and full-service camping. Rock Lake Natural Trail is open year round. 204.529.2365
SPRUCE WOODS PROVINCIAL PARK
Located between Carberry & Glenboro just a short drive north on Hwy #5. Home to "Spirit Sands", also known as the Manitoba Desert, with hiking trails or horse-drawn cart rides to the Devil's Punch Boil. Interpretive Centre, walking trails, sand beach, miniature golf, cross-country ski trails, snowmobiling, and outdoor skating among many other things to do and see here.
